Another take on the fine entertainment underway here in Denpasar at the Pesta Bali. Although one might expect throngs of Bule tourists at the festival there was only a handful yesterday. It's a party for the Balinese mainly, but all are welcome.

I really like the details, but i don't like the expresion on his face. I don't know why, seems like agonizing.

hello caleb.. nice to see you back and gone apparently on your world tour... sounds like a big musical show...;-) excellent portrait.. good lighting, focus and compo...it seems that you used the flash but it is not too strong... keep me posted on your trip..on my email or aside of you want.. looking forward to more posts...

Nice capture Caleb. I admire it, even i saw this kind of shot hundreds time, still u get the different spirit on it.
BTW lemme corection a bit, this is a Bali dancer, very far from Jogjakarta. I think u misswrite the location :-)

Hi Caleb... Excellent colors and details in this shot. What I really like here is how close you got to this graceful dancer. This must be a very intense moment in the performance as evident from the expression on her face. The only thing I would do differently here is try and get the hand in sharper focus. Great shot anyway.
