Photographer’s Note
Landscape and architecture aren't my forte, but after seeing Brigitte's post of Tanah Lot yesterday, I thought I'd add another to Bali's splendid array of Hindu temples. This one is in the high lake area around Bedegul - on a good clear day, the area is breath-taking. The temple stands upon piles jutting into the lake.

I'm not so pleased as Mohammad with this composition, though your camera and excellent lens served you well in providing good colors and fine detail. The flowers and wedge of grass in the foreground really don't add to this image, in my opinion. The image would be improved with tighter cropping on all four sides, including the loss of these foreground elements. I played with the image in Photoshop CS and found it improved by cropping as well as applying Shadows and Highlights and minor application of USM. Perhaps you don't wish to do post processing on your image, but at least to my eye, this fine image could be improved with a judicious application of simple changes.

Excellent photo, Caleb. I like the thick clouds against the blue sky. The two temples are interestingly composed (Tall and short in a row) and the lighting is perfect.

Hi Caleb, don't worry and keep posting for the pleasure of our eyes, your composition is fine and the photo is great, I agree with Curtis about the foreground flowers, either have them fit entirely in the photo or crop them out.

Nice composition Caleb, I am particularly impressed by this dramatic sky. You framed very well the special architecture of these temples. I like the contrast created by the clear blue sky with the darker bottom portion of the image.

This would be your first. Somehow, after seeing and studying your potraitures, seeing you in a different posting is just not you Cale. Somehow, this photo of Bedegul, doesn't seem to have as much impact, as with your potraiture Cale.

You should try another angle with large of lake as background combined blue sky & Cloud.

Nice shot Caleb. probably classical but certainly effective and well done. The heads of the flowers in the bottom right maybe a bit too cropped.
