Photographer’s Note
If there is such a thing as quintessential Bali, I think it would have to be scenes like this: offerings atop mom's head, and jr. in tow...

Hi Caleb,
You are totally right, this is typically Bali.
Great light and warm colours for this beautiful picture.

This is a great picture of Mother & Son. You captured a sweet and loving moment. I like the colors expecially the mom's dress and how it contrasted the background. Thanks for sharing.

Another nice, colourful shot. Great dof that brings out the mom and boy. I think the photo could have been nicer if you took the shot more from the side instead of full frontal...

Cale, quintessential Bali maybe but so is quintessential Javanese. Even in Javanese villages in Sabah or West Malaysia for that matter, you would see this quintessentialness, balancing on the street in the morning, going off to the river or market with the Kebaya dress and sarong.

Another great work in daily life shot, with a woman and her styling in carrying a thing in a traditional way,I have seen this work and I'm wonder about this matter that the women do it very skilfully,...god use of DOF,too.
Thanks for sharing,Caleb
