Photographer’s Note
Bali in mourning again, some bombs recently exploded again in this wonderful island
those terrible acts had killed and injured many people again. My brother was in Bali and just a few meters away from the first explosion, luckyly he was safed
Very sad and tragic. The most will be suffered would be the balinese people again, many whose living from tourism. While they have just revived again after the last terrible bomb in 2002.
This place is in Sanur beach, a calm quiet beach compare to most famous Kuta beach. It was early morning. When I was there in may, there were so few tourists stay there, where as in most other parts of Bali, tourists start coming back, local and international.
My friends living there, I hope they are ok. I hope Bali will recover soon.

Some people are so mad... It's really sad and scary. Thank you for your note and the beautiful picture, full of harmony and quietness, something we should treasure and care for, not destroy. My thoughts to all those who suffer.

Your photo shows the true beauty of your lands. Your brothers and sisters here in Canada feel you pain.

Hi Cessy,
I heard that, a sad day for Bali and INdonesia, hope your friends are OK.
A beautiful image as an hommage to the victims, and strong hope carried by the beauty of the sunrise.
Take care,

Hi Cessy,
Thanks for this thought for the victims of the latest bombings. I'm happy to hear that your brother is OK. I also hope Fred (RockyBoy) is OK as I know he is in Bali these days...
A beautiful sunset. The boat, seems to be facing towards the sun in sign of hope.
Have a nice Sunday!

Hi Cessy, I was devastated to hear the news and was also thinking of you in the context. A good and poignant choice of photo for the sad occasion, in which the moody lighting enhances the low-key details in a fine way. Best wishes to you.

Hi Cessy, I like the beautiful sunset scene you have captured in this shot. You have done a great job to capture the sun, the sunrays, the silhouette view of the special boat, the clouds, and the reflections on the water. A very well captured enjoyable picture. Well done.

Hello Cessy.

Indeed, that was horrible to learn that attack while I still was on the plane. Glad that your brother is OK...
About this picture, it remind me when I saw the dolphins at Lovina Beach... I was on a boat like this!
Also, at Jimbaran, the seafood was really yummy ;)

Hi cessy
An Indonesian friend who works in Bali, tele-text messaged us, that she saw the people running away, just as she was about to head to Kuta, to have her evening meal. I'm glad your brother is safe. There are millions of Indonesians, with much more 'Islam' in their little finger, than the entire JI network, imho.
I hope they catch the men, who indoctrinated the suicide bombers. This goes very much against the teachings of Islam.

Cessy, an excellent evening shot. Well captured colours, interesting silhouette and good use of a low horizon. I appreciate the thoughtful and moving note.

Pourquoi tant de violences dans ce monde qui a déjà tant à supporter avec les catastrophes naturelles ?
La photo témoigne de la beauté du monde l'ambiance est celle de la paix.
