Photographer’s Note

Bali has lots of artcraft, not the usual sort of rinklets and tacky souvernirs, but autentic silver jelewery, batik textiles, household items made in coconut, but also the teater masks like tho ones in the picture and beautiful colourful kites.

Mas aquilo que eu gosto mais é da qualidade do batik da Indonésia. Comprei algumas peças de batik da Ilaha de Madura que são verdadeiras obras primas. E tudo feito à mão e, ao preço da chuva!!!
Bonita foto com umas máscaras muito interessantes. As cores são excelentes e a composição está muito boa.

Hello Flavia! A lovely "photo gift" from Bali you are showing us tonight and I totally agree that many of these things are not just tourist crap from one of these souvenir stores but wonderful things to bring home and lighten up any household with colorful treasures like textiles or kites. A wonderful display of colours in a thoughtfully composed framing. The colour scheme of the masks and kites appear to be well coordinated. You have also made good use of the indirect diffused light from outside the shop. Well done
