Photographer’s Note
Ambon Islands is part of the Maluku Islands of Indonesia. Ambon was colonised by Portugal in 1526, lies off the south-west coast of the much larger Seram Island. It is on the north side of the Banda sea, part of a chain of volcanic isles. Wild area of Ambon Island are covered by tropical rainforest. The average temperature is 80F. There are live very friendly people. Ambon is one of the best places in Indonesia for diving and taking pictures.
