Studying the Koran Photo

Photographer’s Note

Usually islamic boys and girls have to study the Koran 5 days a week in the Mosque. The teacher is very strict and they have to pass the examination.
In two or three years, they will read the arabian character and learn by heart all sentence of Koran.

Dear Takero,
I saw this photo as a random photo in the gallery. This is an excellent portrait, but it is so small! :( I like the moment which is unique and very well captured.
There are two "technical" things which seem disturbing to me in this photo: the bright light in the background, near the boy's head; and the fact that the boy's face is in the shade: rather dark.
