[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Before climbing Kawah Ijen we spent half a day at a nearby coffee plantation, when we were walking there kids would just come to say hello but these three boys desperately wanted to have a photo taken by us. How could I refuse such smiling faces, all the more that they were surprisingly disinterested...

Hello Aleksandra. I like much your photo, ideally composed on a transverse line. These mischievous smiles recalls me this engaging country.

This is just a great image of childhood - whatever the country or context - that openness and energy - the expression and exuberant joy! of these young people is fantastic! The sad thing in the UK these days is that you couldn't/shouldn't photograph kids like this - (how sad to live in a society ruled by such fear) - unless you go through parental consent and sign off - all spontaneity goes out of it - I love the variety of the three expressions and and postures - a really fantastic image!

best wishes

Kev

...chyba nie ma przyjemniejszego portertu od zdjêæ dzieci. Sa takie naturalne / nawet jak pozuj± /i radosne. Pozdrawiam Artur

Ciao Aleksandra
What a great photo you have here. Your models are simply brilliant. The playfulness in this picture what drawed my attention, these kids have soooo much character, I especially like the guy on the left.
I like alos your choice of DOF, as the background is not distracting and blurred out.
Brava.

Witam. Switny moment tu zlapany i wszystko fajnie ujete. Ciekawa jakosc i oczywiscie kolory a w szczegolnosci kolory w tle. Jedyne co troche razi w oczy i co jest w miare wazne (przynajmniej dla mnie) to obciete palce u jednego z dzieciakow. To tyle..., ogolnie bardzo ciekawe zdjecie.

Regards from Indonesia!
You did traveled a lot, and you shared all the moments with your pictures to the world, including this, in Indonesia. I really enjoy watching your pictures were being amplified with your inspiring notes. Especially this happiness exploration you've captured. On the left was the pencak-silat (Indonesian martial art) kid, next by was the army's generation and on the right was the artist!

Thanks for sharing my country to the world,

Bima
