Photographer's Note

I could sit on a breakwater located about half a kilometer seaward, for hours just watching & photographing the fury of the sea with its pounding waves whilst ignoring the gust of wind but I think being at sea level one can really witness, admire and appreciate the sheer forces of nature and the destructive energy it conveys.

Seeing the power of the ocean putting on a show
and the wild beauty of Nature....

Shooting location :
Puger, some 30km south of Jember town. A breakwater was erected extending to about 1 km outward from the coastline to protect erosion as well as to provide shelter from the elements. It's also a hot favourite fishing spot for anglers from surrounding coastal areas.

Using 300mm lens, tripod and wind breaker, this shot was taken as the sun was setting to the right of picture
