Photographer's Note

I was staying in an absolute dump of a room, up in the tiny town of Cemara Lawang, Indonesia. It's famous for it's view of Mount Bromo (the smoking crater on the left) and Batok (the dominating mountain in the middle). This was the view just outside my "ekonomi" room.

In this photo, there is the decrepit old "Toilet" sign missing letters, the ugly cement wall (with broken glass cemented to the top) and the blank white pole in the middle. Yet, that view is so spectacular (if you've seen it you know what I mean) and I could stay in any accomodation with a view like that.

Could use a workshop, have fiddled with it and have a better version on my computer. Also apologize for the small size, had zero space on my camera and not a single computer in the town.
