Hi Franck, I like the fact that you put this shot as a main one, and a more typical view you put in the WS (although I like it as well). Good curve of this branch here, it looks like a piece of barbed wire guarding the mountains.

this is an interesting composition. You choised the focus on the grass. It's a nice choise. but for me the background was also very nice and you could get a little bit more sharpness on it.
However, this is a beautifull composition.

Tres tres bien!!
This is a highly original photo with the volcano in the background - although the drooping plant would have been enough to grab my attention! Theres a sadness in the shade of that branch.

Pas eu beaucoup de temps à consacrer à TE ces derniers temps, et je constate que j'ai raté pas mal de tes photos. Celle ci est très réussi : légère, subtile, très poétique en fait. j'aime beaucoup même si je trouve que ce n'est pas vraiment ton style habituel, non ?
Juste un truc : c'est quoi un bokeh ?

En regardant la vignette, j'ai pensé à des barbelés, amis en ouvrant c'est beaucoup plus poétique!!
Une très bonne réalisation avec des couleurs très douces.
J'ai bien aimé aussi le WS 2. Du très bon travail!!

Comme Hervé j'ai pensé à des barbelés en regardant la miniature.
et là aussi je trouve que c'est beaucoup plus doux.. j'aime beaucoup les tons presque pastels de ta photo, tout en décalage avec ce que tu fais d'habitude... mais le changement te va bien aussi. :)

Bien vu cette insertion de brindille pour créer la profondeur. J'aime beaucoup ta photo du parc national, superbe alors je me dis que pour celle-ci, j'aurais bien aimé un bokeh inversé pour voir ;-) Netteté sur l'arrière-plan parce que le site est vraiment merveilleux. Voilà, mais celle-ci me plaît aussi.

I think 99 percent of us, on seeing this scene, would set our cameras for maximum POV. But you were more clever than that, and saw the benefits of building the image around that delicate bit of grass echoing the shape of the mountain. We still see as much as we need to of the beautiful and nicely lit scene in the distance, but as you've presented it, Franck, it's a true artwork, not just a recording of a scene.

You should have made a separate posting of Workshop 2--it's really great also! Regards, Ken.
