wow! what a capture of the scenic beauty of the place in lights of early morning sun. the very long reflections of the coconut trees on the water give a nice calm feelings to the pic. inclusion of the little boy has given the pic an element of life too. great pov & tfs.

Early morning light is so nice here that i must thank you for getting up so early just after the cock cooed :)
Excellent reflections of the palms, and i love the serenity and tranquility of the atmosphere. No need to say that this one is perfectly fit for a vertical compo. Have a nice Sunday :)

I didn't even notice the little boy until I read the first critique. I agree it's a stunning photo; the little boy would have been better if he'd been away from that tree so that we could actually see him (:-p) but I love it anyway!!

Lovely mornign light Tina and with this tall palm tree dominating the frame. I know peopel liek you as soon as there is work to do in the house ..they out ...quick as that :)

PS I leave here aug 20 fly to jakarta and then on to Manado, (Sulawesi) we spend the first week relaxing on a remote beach, havent been on a beach for years, and then travelling to Tangkoko Natioanl Park and then head south to Mamasa. Only the beach is booked the rest we shall see when we get there.
We also have flight already booked in December to Burma!!
I'll be in touch before I leave.

Early morning light, the best you can get. I like when people are dedicated to get up early and go out hunting for warm morning light, i am on your side ;-)
Composition is straight on, but with the different lines in the water it creates his own depth. The palmtrees and their reflections are wonderful, just as the hazy mountain in the far background....very good.

A very peaceful composition. Everything is so still, like waiting for the sunlight to wake them up. It was a lot of fun to discover the kid right on the middle of the shot. The light is amazing.

Tina,
Great landscape! The early morning lighting is great bringing out nice colors and contrasts. The reflection in the rice patty is great with the palm trunks crossing the lines of the patty. The stillness of the water gives the photo a nice feeling of calmness.

Hi Tina, I like your presentation of this scene.
The composition is good with the horizontal and vertical lines, and the fronds of the palms giving it a good balanced feel.
The reflection is particularly good.
The early morning light gives us a beautiful shot.
