Photographer's Note

The Prambanan Temples are the biggest Hindu temples complex in Indonesia, located in the region of Jogjakarta. They were built during the 9th century and were rediscovered in 1733, in ruins and covered by the vegetation. The main temples were restored over the past century. However, around these main temples, huge amounts of hewn stones are still waiting to be reassembled.
