Photographer’s Note

In last June, Mount Merapi in central Java which is well-known for its legend erupted and gave its materials, such as hot stones, ash, and lava. The hot ashes which well known for local people as wedus gembel (fur of ships) can run until 300 km/hour and achieve 600 celcius degree celcius. Until now, the mount still show the similar activity with lower intensity.

This photo is unique Eki, and it´s very well composed, in a clasic way, but still well, to show us the strenght of nature. The problem here is the size, the photo is too small. Take care.

Beautiful photo! Good framing, you captured very well the movement of the eruption. It is really a pity your picture is so small, it loses a lot of details...
