Another of your fine portraits. I liek the detail in the panel behind the guy here, and in this case, long DoF has been in good choice. Great expression.

Great photo, Caleb!
The expression on this gentleman's face is what catches your eye when you're scanning the thumbnails and draws you in to take a closer look. The composition is wonderful and with such a large area of the background to the right of the figure, a longer DOF to show the detail in the wood is definately the better option in my opinion (as the previous critique also mentioned!).

Very nicely composed portrait. Its most diffictult to get natural pictures like this of people. The camera pointing at them makes them self-conscious and uncomfortable. Please tell me how you got him to pose so naturally?

I like the use of the rattan wall as a backdrop. The slight diagonal tilt of the mans head adds interst & dynamism. Good dof & sharpness. Well done!

Great portrait, what a happy looking man...his smile is contagious. It looks like we're sharing a fun moment. The composition is great, the panelling provides a perfect (and in itself interesting)backdrop.
