Photographer’s Note

Taken just a few minutes after my previous picture, this was Lalikarnika Ghat (well, at least, that's what I suspect the name of the burning ghat north of Assi Ghat is and where I stayed). This morning was just amazing and makes me feel like going back to Varanasi whenever I see pictures of it.

Nice atmosphere and beautiful colours on the boats. It makes you feel the solitude of the place.

A very nice, though for us Indians, not a very uncommon shot from Varanasi. The light has been captured well & the reflection of the sun shimmering on the water framed by the boats makes this beautiful...well done!
