Indeed I agree the Sunset was really beautiful that day as I can see, however there are lots of ways this shot could have been made a great shot. Here are my thoughs

1: You should have removed those two people from your shot. they are distracting. They are getting more attention in this shot. Besides, this is meant to be landscape shot and they are best without people.

2: Always my Friend avoid using the Flash. By not using the Flash you will be able to capture Natural light. When in times like this when there's less Natural light, use a slower shutter speed and Tripod to avoid a blurry image

3: Rest is left to your creativity. Sometimes silhouette of Trees and leaves add beauty to the shot, however try not covering the entire sky with leaves, especially when the Sky is important like in this shot, you should be showing more of the Sky.
