The devotees from far & wide come to this temple of Lord Shiva on the border town of Chandaneswar daily; upon fulfillment of their wishes they offer their gratitude by this way
("Dandi" - means full body contact on the ground & they stretch their hand & legs & mark the span after which again they stretch on the ground from immediately the marked end point of their stretched fingers...)
