Photographer’s Note
HI EVERYONE!!
Enjoy~~
This is another one of my boat series .. The people you see on the boat are fishermens . The weather had grown pretty stormy with slight rain drops too . I was first a bit apprehensive since the water could damage my camera.. Then I couldn't control myself from taking this shot.. Yes , it did take some damage but luckily the photo was saved..
The sky seemed to be very fascinating to me.. I could see a red line along the horizon . You can see it by viewing the workshop version where i will be posting the actual photograph in color..
I greatly admire the spirit and bravery shown by the fishermens.. They didnt refuse to go out in the sea even at such circumstances and as you can see , the sea grew angry to which lifted the boat at an 40 degree angle!!!
I know there is some grains but i didnt use neat image. I have used blur tool in the sky . trekks was very right. Neat image surely ruins the natural look . The wave seemed to be very fake ..
Enjoy~~

Hello Sayanwithsenice.
A nice shot, in an excellent black and white.
I like the multiple lines of the waves and the sense of motion you gave to the shot.
Best regards.
Bobo.

hi Sayan!
i think u have over-processed the picture. the artefacts r clearly visible along the horizon. u have overcorrected the tilt. the boat and the people r not in focus.
however, i like the mood u have captured and i think the monochrome suits it.
regards,
Nabarun

Believe me, your courage for risking your camera is at least as admirable as the fishermen's...
I would never do such a thing and probably miss a worthy scene.
I cannot distinguish the grains and parts you blurred yourself. The result is amazing with that blurry view of fishermen between the scary waves.
I definitely like B&W version rather than the original one in WS. B&W is so complementary with the atmosphere of sea's anger.
Congrats,
Burcu

Hi Sayan,
To show reality is admirable...
To reflect truth is adorable...
I respect the attitude in you that gave such a daring moment in image.
Good thought, and a fine presentation.
Just leave all those technical dramas and enjoy the concept framed !!!
Why to bother about technology?
Creative is the decisive fact....
Let's sing for that..
Rejoice..

hi Sayan
Good composition of this beach view under rough sea wave. I think you may have overdone the saturation and color adjustment, even for B&W it shows. The noise is visible too. Very dark shade and tone on the persons will show you. Even sharpness is affected. just my view.

Hi Sayan,
Great shot. I agree regarding the sharpening artifacts near the horizon, as pointed out by Nabarun, but the feel of the 'ADRENALINE RUSH' is very evident here.

Sagarneel.

Hello friend! Thanks much for comments on my photos. Lately im so busy with school that i dont have time to come here.
I see u have uploaded some interesting shots from the beach. also this one is interesting. Very dynamical and you have created mysterious atmosphere here by adding shadows and black colors.
Good choice,
thanks!

this is also a very good image but a bit overexposure is recommended here...

Hi Sayan,
THe moment was great, so was the composition. The only problem I have is the contrast, a little too dark for my taste.
Good job, nonetheless.

Hi Sayan,
Excellent timing to catch the boat braking the waves. Lovelly composition. I find the light a little too low, we almost don't get the details of the men inside the boat, but still a good picture.

Flavia
