This not Rajasthan.. Its choki Dhani an ethenic resort in Pune where they have portraited the culture and civilization of contempary Rajastan. This was at a puppet show.
Puppetry is one of the most costly medium of entertainment, it involve activities like drawings, paintings, wood carving, carpentry, plaster cast making, clay modeling, costume designing, story, script writing, dramatization, song and music composition.
But after so much of hardwork the wages of the artisans are too low. The folk art is dying in india because of this reason. Does it need moderization to survive?. But wont it loose its charm after that |
