Photographer’s Note

This was a long dark corridor inside the Jaigarh fort in Jaipur. Only a small courtyard broke the monotony and it was opern to the sky. This is where the light squeezed in and played wonders. I simply couldn't resist either clicking this one or sharing it with all my freinds here on TE.

Once again you did an excellent job capturing warm light in an image. I like the contrast created by the black framing and the warm light in the middle. The image is sharp and the exposure very good. An artistic shot. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Aadiil, it took me a short while to understand the advantages of placing the corridor just in the center of your frame, instead of off-center. With the help of the wide white border, there's a nice straight depth created leading the eye thru white, black and then the lovely orange tones (different and exciting on the two sides), to the darkness at the end of the corridor. It's a nice graphical one, congratulations! Daniel

Bonsoir,
belle photo de ce jeu de lumière dans un couloir étroit, belle prise de ces jolies couleurs et bonne netteté de ce couloir qui laisse deviner une longueur avant et une après ces lueurs.
Bien fait comme un artiste, un créateur.

I am so satisfied to see again your gallery. It is magnificent. There are so photos which I like!
This one for example, so simple and so extraordinary at the same time. It is really all the art of the photographer to manage to make of this passage a small miracle thanks to the centring and to the treatment of colors.

Décidement je crois que l'on va pouvoir te surnommer le maître de la lumière...
J'aime beaucoup celle-ci notamment pour le mystère qu'elle véhicule...Elle donne envie d'avancer doucement les mains sur les murs... doucement... doucement... Avant de découvrir ce qui se cache derrière cette lumière...

Very simple and very elegant ! Great palet with changing tones, you definitely are very good for this kind of views, but having seen the photo with the crowd of men that you posted recently, may I suggest that you add some other photos with people in your gallery ? Well, it's only my taste and I admire this series a lot,
