[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Near the Chinese fishing nets in Fort Cochin, this fisherman was casting his net into the sea. Each time he'd carefully gather it up, then wade out a few feet, wait for a moment (I don't know what he was waiting for - the right kind of wave??), then toss it out. Then he'd drag it a short distance, before pulling it in again, then gather it carefully together ready for the next throw. I stood for quite a while watching him, and took a lot of pictures!

C'est un intéressant jeu d'ombres Charlotte, que tu as su bien mettre en valeur avec ce cadrage approprié... J'aime les reflets sur le filet ainsi que l'élégance du dessiné des ombres...
Félicitations et à plus...

Hello Charlotte,

I like this very much.
Your main character is perfectly placed, off-centre and in the line of the setting sun so he is highlighted by its glow. His casting net takes the eye across the rest of the shot.

The colours and the composition are excellent.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Beautiful catch. So aerial and with such excellent light management. Silhouettes, orange sunset, wonderful. Great work.

aimant la pêche et la photo... je ne peux qu'apprécier... joli mouvement et lumière.

Hi Charlotte,
Wonderful sunset composition.
Lovely fishing scenery.
Wonderful silhouette, colours and sun light.

Hi Charlotte,
This is an excellent action shot of the fisherman throwing his net, and the late evening lighting has allowed you to capture the superb silhouette of the man. The fact that the brightest colours of the sun are directly above the man's head draws ones eyes to that point.....wonderfully done.
Cheers Grant

Hello Charlotte, is a very beautiful picture, the colors and the light are perfectly balanced, and the silhouette of the fisherman throwing the network finishes off this excellent work, congratulations.

A greeting and see you soon.
