Photographer’s Note
Cause they got so much in common,
living on the street,
eating what is hand out to them,
chased away too often,
but
he is still human,
the dog an animal,
either of them,
do they have any choice
then to be companions for life ?
Place: 8km from Haridwar town taken at doggy-level

Bonjour

John.

Hi Henk,
Well, I don't think it's about the choice to be companions for life. Or about a comparison between the faith of the two. There are quite some animals, and also people at various levels of poverty, living on the street - but not necessarily they all be companions for life.
What is true is that life on the street will be more attractive when living it with a companion. But isn't that a general remark as well? ;-)
Nice low point of view. Touching.
Greetings! Dennis

Hi Henk!!
the man laugh because you are at doggy-level, I suppose!
Another good shot from you about poor simple people! and also a poor dog, poor but happy while eating a biscuit!
Ciao, take care!

Henk,
Looking at the subjects & then the angle & then the lively expressions, I shouted this has to be Henk in action!. So your charms have gone across India to reach such simple beings!
Thanks,
Prem.

excellent low POV, the sharpness is perfect, the smiling expression and the glance are touching, the square format is working very well, excellent idea, but you cut a part of the leg of the dog, anyway, thumb up for that portrait Henk, that's great photojob !

can't express why i love this photo so much...?
kind of subconscious feelings...
The contact between you Henk, and him...?
His hand on the dog...?
The truth about him and your skills to bring that truth about another human being to the surface...?
Unusual moment and a truckload of emotions in there...
Have a great Sunday, bro
