[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a view of Kabru from Yaksum, at 5.00 am in the morning.

Kabru (7317 m) is a mountain in the Himalayas on the border of India and Nepal. It is part of a ridge that extends south from Kangchenjunga.

Yaksum, the first capital of Sikkim , here is the spot where first dynasty of the Sikkim came into being in 1641. This is the place where coronation took place. At 6000 feet of elevation, Yuksam has sub-topical climate.

Hi Lopshang,
So beautiful light on the mountain, I like the contrats with the foreground as silhouette. Very sharp, we can feel the wind at top. Well done !

Yves

Hi Lopshang,
A good setting to show us these impressive mountains in the Himalayas, inaccessible for the majority of people.
There is a great contrast between the dark silhouettes in FG, the great whiteness of the snow and such a clean blue of the sky, with a magnificent light very early in the morning, which draws with its shades the majestic relief of these summits.
It is a beautiful photo, with many quality of image and a great work with the exposure.
Best regards,
Josep

Hi Lopshang,

this is absolutely a GREAT natural shot! Not easy to manage so well exposure on snow, stunning sharpness.

Hi, Lopshang. This is a very impressive mountain. It stands out very well against the blue sky and the silhouettes of the trees in the foreground which form a nice V in the centre of the picture. The light is good, but I think it could even get better by moving the cursor of midtones a little to the right.
Best wishes,
Philippe

Hello Lopshang,

Very nice picture :) The light is amazing, and the sharpness is really good. The high plateau between the 2 summits should be a very special place.

Best regards, Laurent.
