[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In the heat of the mid-day sun a flower seller just outside the market in Varanasi. There is also a temple close by for which I think people buy these flowers as offerings.
Unfortunately I see that there was a bit of a smudge on my lens which has affected a section of the flowers.

Hey,
Nice shot of the flower seller... the flowers are clear and colorful which I like. The man i think could be brightened a bit - as he's quite dark in the frame compared with the flowers, and equally as interesting (well, nearly).
Cheers!
Dave.

Wanda,
A nicely done shot...The colours are the attention clincher here.
Could have been a bit brighter on the peddler.
Still a commendable one.
Cheers,
Prem.

I like the way you keep digging into your image bank for such gems...something I am not able to do. but you capture the life in my country so well and give it a whole new perspective.

Hi Wanda,

I like your new personal photo, very much... :-P) Yesterday you had a new one also, but you only keep it for a day or two.

Okay Wanda, this one, I would have liked to see it closer to your subject or at his level. There's no particular contact with him, although it had great potential. The flowers arrangement is a great subject as well, but right now, both are competing to get the attention. So maybe a shot with flowers in forefront, very close to the lens and the salesman in second plan would have had a greater impact. Or a close-up portrait with the flower in the background.

Maybe its just the straight angle, too much horizontal and from shoulder level. Not up to your talent.

Please don't hate me.... :-P)

André
