Photographer’s Note

It is a very simple composition: the last moments of the sunset through the fragments of one palm leave. I shot it near Aleppey, on a fine and abandoned beach.

Hi Janos,

I do not know exactly what I'm looking at, but I love it! I imagine this red dot to be a sun and lines somekind of roof structure. Nevetheless it has great graphic effect that creates excellent composition.

Very creative composition; simple, as you say, but you must have a good eye to see the potential for a good image using this perspective. Great colors and excellent use of the natural pattern of the palm branch.

Beautiful image. Love the patterns of the leaves that you have captured so graphically. It looks like an abstract painting. The red sun breaks the grey-black succession of lines in a very effective way. Like it a lot!

Na, folytatva az előző elmélkedést, két megjegyzésem van:
1. Méltánytalannak tartom, hogy sokkal többen cuppantak rá erre a végtére is rém egyszerű, három színből és néhány vonalból álló képre, mint a remek portréidra, zsánerképeidre, tájképeidre - arról nem is beszélve, hogy azok hozzák a hely szellemét, ez pedig szinte bárhol a világon készülhetett volna. (Na jó, a Sarkkörön túl egy kicsit macerás.)
2. Azért lássuk be minden nyafogás mellett is, ez az egyszerű kép piszok jól sikerült! Nem nagy tartalom, de rendkívül elegáns megoldás, irígykedésre érdemes kivitelezés.
