low angle Taj Photo

Photographer’s Note

shot from atop my photo backpack as the masses descend upon the front entrace - this side was virtually empty.

That is always the challenge with monuments of high interest - they are generally teaming with people - which has it's pluses and minuses indeed.

One year ago today - okay - give or take a few hours.

Hi Conrad, excellent shot! Atmospehere is mysterious and the sky looks so dramatic! Perfect colours and contrast. I really enjoy this photo. :)

Bonjour mon voisin de page,
Quelle chance vous avez eu lors de la visite de ce monument.
Personnellement le ciel était tout pâle, et le sol rempli de mondes...rien d'interessant pour les photos. Bref, vous vous avez un ciel très interessant et un sol qui donne de la lumière, certes juste un rayon de soleil perçant un nuage aurait été la cerise sur le gâteau, mais bon...c'est ainsi et c'est déjà bien - bonne journée

Hi Conrad,

Low angle works here very well. It gives mightly look to Taj. The dense clouds and red tiles makes this shot extraordinary. One of best presentation of Taj on TE.

This is a very nice POV. I see three strong elements blending together perfectly: the ominous sky, the Taj Mahal itself, and the wonderful patterned ground. The colors are so rich that it almost has the feeling of a painting.

Great shot. I had not found that great cloudy conditions as You so I must admit this foto is really outstanding from among all these on TE. It has lot of power!
