Photographer's Note

This boy is just back from his school as his uniform says, is helping his family to bring the Goat and kids back to home, after letting it to feed on the riverbanks till the evening.

This is the photo of one of the Kadavu on the banks of the mighty river Pariyar I’ve taken this shot yesterday evening near to my home, as I was testing my new lens (Vallam Kadavu in Perumbavoor, Eranakulam District).
Kadavu" in Malayalam means the bank of a river where there is no bridge and people use country boat to cross the river.

The Periyar River is the second longest river in the state of Kerala, India, with a length of 244 km. The river is also known as The lifeline of Kerala as it is one of the few perennial rivers of Kerala. It provides drinking water for major towns.
