Photographer’s Note
I WAS BORN, A FATEFULL DAY...
"Mystic journey, a life born
Ups and downs, smiles, laughter..
Hate and love,stupidity in wisdom..
Friends turn enemies at last...
Exploring celebrations,frustration
Destination in mud, ticks the clock
Paths painfull, screams in me
Shivering hearts,merry is the world
My search, my question, my answer
Still I see her laughing at me
Journey never ends, cold, hot days
Faith guides our steps,our weakness
Realise a word, a heart, a day,
Rest in peace, the world never sleeps..
Never sleeps. never sleeps, never.. !!"

SHOT AT THANGASSERY BEACH, KOLLAM.
The Thangassery Beach, located 5 km from Kollam town, is a seaside village of historic importance. Besides the 144-feet high Thangaserry Lighthouse which is open to visitors everyday, there are ruins of an old Portugese Fort and churches built in the 18th century near the beach. The nearest airport is the Thiruvananthapuram International and Domestic Airport, 76 km away.Kollam is connected to most Indian cities and is on the railway routes.
MEMORIES ARE PRICELESS TREASURES THAT WE CAN CHERISH IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER..
TIME NEVER STOPS..Everybody comes into our lives for some reason or another and we don't always know their purpose until it is too late. They all play some kind of role. Some may stay for a lifetime; others may only stay for a short while. It is often the people who stay for only a short time that end up making a lasting impression not only in our lives, but in our hearts as well. Although we may not realize it at the time, they will make a difference and change our lives in a way we never could imagine.

Like never stops, J.P. but I think a few hearts would have missed a beat looking at this scene! It is so beautiful and tranquil!
The sea looks like molten gold!
The sand bar with the fishermen assists the eye to move deeper into the shot!
It's just wonderful!
Kind regards,

Hi JP,
A boat that is lonely and waiting for passenngers is a very good subject. What I like in your composition is the fact that there are two boats: one empty and one with people. A nice contrast, and you stressed on the one that is empty. Life's journey is fascinating, at every corners you'll find happy surprises. Lovely golden lights and awesome reflections. Beautiful shot.

Hi Jean Paul,
Beautiful, pleasantly relaxing, inspiring and meditative... You are a master (re)producing these magically wonderful atmospheres with your POV's and the adjustment of colours and light.
It is almost bad tasted being so fussy with such unimportant details: the horizon has a wee inclination and maybe the compo would gain with putting the FG boat more to the right, farther from the centre.
Have a nice Sunday.
Regards, José.

Hello Jean Paul,
Your poetry and beautiful photography always go hand in hand. This is a marvelous image and a mystical and dreamlike one also. The glistening Sun shining on the three people in the boat in the distance and then creating a powerful ray of light to the bottom of your frame is pure magic! It is interesting that two different themes are at work with this photo of yours; power and serenity. A paradoxical theme. Your compositions are always very individualistic and creative. The statement by Ralph Vaull Starr resonates with me also. Outstanding! :) tomorrow

Namaste Jean Paul. One could drown in this light, this liquid and ethereal light. Find a spot, like this boat, and rest, gently rocking, while one listens to murmur of the waves, the laughter of children and the philosophizing of the elders. Very evocative shot of your beloved land. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Jean Paul,
I love ever the lonely boats. For me they produce a strong feeling of nostalgy, perhaps a little bit of sadness, but too they talk about the bigness of the world, and too about the calmness in the life. Here, the soft colors enhance these feelings. It's a beautiful shot, and, overall, a sensitive image! Thanks a lot!
