Photographer’s Note
In Kaziranga National Park elephants are used to give (very uncomfortable) rides to tourists. In the evening the riders take the elephants down to the river, throw them in, scrub them down, pick them up and ride them away into the sunset.

Hello Alan,
I am glad I stopped by here to take a closer look at this shot - it is remarkable. The elephants appeared as just large rocks in the thumbnail but it is obvious what they are in the full version. The lighting around the central elephant is beautiful and warm. I hope that these animals live good lives in protection. The silhouetted tree to the side is a beautiful touch. Well done mate!
Matt
