Photographer’s Note

Here is something different than usual ...I cropped the image. I cropped only the top part of the frame to have the 16:9 proportions ...I vow not to crop again for quite sometime.

My camera does not have a 16:9 frame recording option, but I prefer this frame at certain cases. I was not entirely happy with the timing, but for a first attempt, I let this go!

hello Arnab,
I like this photo a lot, perfect contrast between blurred cyclist and motionless people sitting by the wall, I find this composition creates a great feeling of depth to the scene. I also like the strict division into twos - the colours on the wall, the pavement on the road, it goes well with the contrast I mentioned before. captivating way to show the "speed of life" for different people, excellent work.

Hei Arnab,
incredible and original caputure,what a great b&W.
I like very much the composition,excepting that the subject
looks to centered a bit.Very nice sharpness of the background,
interesting focus.

Hi Arnab,
I would prefer the cycler less centered but apart from that it is a great picture. I am a fan of good blur effects and this is one. The straight composition and the people in the background make for a very interesting and moody image. Well done!
