Photographer’s Note

Another shot from the Jama Masjid Mosque in the Old Delhi. Early morning rays of sun brighten the walls and towers of one of the biggest Mosques in India which has been completed in the year 1656.
Being one of the first visitors the other day I met only a few people and quite large herds of pigeons which are common there. Once they raised to fly a true Hitchcock image popped into my head, here is the result, though the Hitchock's firstly were not pigeons and secondly had this scary stare in their eyes....
A double gradual Cokin's filter ND x4 helped to achieve this effect.

Quite efficient effect of all the pigeons flying to various directions, some close some further. Sharp or with motion blur. Your title fits with impression.

Trudno tej pracy nie zauważyć. Bardzo oryginalna kompozycja, wyróżniająca się spośród wielu zdjęć architektury. Bardzo ładne i przemyślane zdjęcie ( chociaż widać że chwila była ulotna i na myślenie nie było zbyt wiele czasu) Bardzo dobrze uporządkowany kadr wieża ulokowana w znakomitym punkcie

Nicely done. Great light, I like the building in the lower right corner as a stationary fixture within the rapid movement of the birds but I'm a little surprised about the motion blur with a 1/320 shutter speed. No matter, it's a good photo anyaway and the title is excellent.

A quality shot of the flying pigeons. I like the decisive moment in it because its not so easy to capture the well scattered birds ina single frame, but you have not only captured them well but kept the tomb top in a well defined position.

Absolutely wonderful!!! Incredible shot!!! I've been there just one month ago and tried to take a similar picture. But I couldn't get this cuality.

Amazing effect using the filter...think a white simple frame of similar dimension would have made the picture stand out even more..the thick black is actually too binding...but overall an absolute treat..a winner..a great post to share..and one you will cherish a lifetime :))

Niewiele rzeczy robi takie wrazenie, jak nieomal trojwymiarowe zdjecia.. ta przestrzen wzburzona skrzydlami lecacych ptakow.. w rozne strony, w jednakim pedzie.. co wiecej ta rozszalala chmura dziala na wyobraznie, chwili, momentu.. O takim zdjeciu nie mozna myslec statycznie, nie obdarzyc go jakas forma emocjonalnosci.. zazwyczaj niezwykle pozytywnej :)
tak i ja czynie, wszystkiego dobrego!

Olá Michal, love the resulted pattern here and I like the title very much. The effect of movement is also great - I can almost have the sense of seeing the pattern changing, while looking at it. Excellent shot.
