[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another little girl from the village of Tala. After reading the first critique on this picture I thought I should add some more info.... This delightful little village is home to some 100-150 people. Although this little girl looks somber the people here were extremely friendly and seemed very happy. Virtually everyone here has a plot of land where they grow a miriad of fruit and vedgetables that are sold at the local market and all of the children here go to a small school on the edge of the compound. My guide Kartikeya Singh who is the Head Naturalist at the Mahua Kothi Taj Safari Resort spent much time as a child in a village very similar to this one and as we wandered about he told me about the wonderful memories that he had of village life.

Hi Tracey,
Very attracting eyes. She is serious but she seems healthy and proud. She has wonderful blue reflects on her hair and on her eyes. There is a beautiful harmony in the colours and yer little green necklace add a beautiful touch in the composition. A great portrait, as I would like to make one day!
