The Indubitability of the Self : ATMAN

"Life ,a continuous flow,never lasting
Desire holds ,different from present..
Paths of anxiety,vexation, dissatisfaction
Unrest rides the world , realise truths..
Youth vanishes,beauty turns ugliness..
Time mocks at man, miseries blow life,
A drop of health, wealth, is lovely
An ocean of thirst in man always
Whirled in the storm of life’s turmoils
Seeks a path, does man find it?
Strive for happiness,limited time
Spins life, blurred is its moods
Indubitability is the feel now
Life is always a struggle, love it..
Life is always young, desire it !! "

SHOT AT KOLLAM,MY NATIVE LAND.
Man’s life on earth is a continuous flow of events, and no event seems to be lasting.

"In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life. It goes on."

Each day I wait for your photo and each time I get a portion of impressive gem.
And this time is the same situation.
Smart composition with excellent focusing.
Thanks for sharing.
Regards my dear friend.

Hi Jean Paul,

I guess I have more to learn as I simply don't "get" this image. Interesting note and I love the quotes but I don't make the connection between the note and the photo.

As a serious question and as a learning point for me can you describe what you were going for and the ways in which you think this image conveys the indubitability of the self?

Sorry.

Bob G.

Love the blur here, it gives lot of dynamism to the shot. The sharpness of the details brings me the smell of the fresh coir. Good imaginative shot.Great work !

Hi Jean Paul,
It's indubitably an interesting photo, very well composed, as usual, graphic and colour wise. The textures of the ropes on the FG are specially appealing and they make a nice contrast with the pink shirt.
But... I don't like the blur...
Regards, José.

Hi Jean Paul,
excellent sharpnes and blur in the same frame
wonderful composition
cheers

Hi Jean,
This is a very interesting composition!!!The view of the moving girl corelating with the motion of life is intelligently portrayed!!!
Good thought provokoing shot.
Regards,
Sagar.

Hello,
I like very much the composition and the blur, it gives a lot of dynamism and yet there are great details to be seen and the colors are lovely...

The note is great and I enjoy Robert Frost's citation a lot...the relation to the picture is maybe not so evident, but I guess you wanted to show a fleeting moment in a live made of moments ...

TFS
Best regards
Michèle

Hi Jean Paul,
I like that you have got the rope in focus and that the girl is blurred with movement as she works. A nice idea!
All the best wishes for 2008!
Regards
Wanda

Hi JP,
This is something new from you and I congratulate you for trying a new experiment. You've tried to depict dynamic life through the blur which is very interesting. However, the title "indubitability" is not very clear to me..it means undoubtedly or unquestionably. But life is anything but SURE. It is full of surprises and without any certainity. May be I did not get what you tried to say here.
A very thought provoking shot.
Thanks for sharing.

Shaeri

Jean Happy New Year to you too. I am going through some challenging times at home and your poems are very timely for my thinking. I love the motion of the girl helps promote the blurred motion in life. Excellent capture Jean...thanks for sharing!

Hi Jean. A good change from your earlier posts. Liked the sharp and distinct coir ropes matchingly supported by the blurred kid. Well composed. But couldn't relate the indubatibility factor. Still quite a nice take and thanks for a different presentation.Regards.

Hello j.paul
Interesting daily life scene, with the good capture of the little girl making rope, but like José I, personally, don't like the blurred effect. Nonetheless, there are nice texture and colors.
Wish you all the best ;)

Hi JP,
The blur on the little girl might be subject to discussion, but i don't dislike it! We still can catch a glimpse of her surprised expression, at work making ropes(?). Nice light and well textured FG coconut strings
;D

Hey japiey,

Had a look at your other work....compared to that, sorry to say this doesnt work wonders. Concept is interesting, but the execution of the idea is not conveyed through the layers of 'out of focus' lens.

Cheers,
Peterv
