Amazing picture!!! Love the full composition.
That long grey hair in combination with the brown skin and eyes is amazing!
Also love his expression
Too bad there isn't a greater contrast between the background/wall and his hair.

Hello, Vivek -
An absolutely captivating portrait! Beautifully composed and a great capture of the expression. I also like the way the hair color is almost the same as the background.

Simply stunning, Vivek!
The contrast in his skin and his hair is wonderful and the lighting is perfect. The detail is fabulous and I love the gray background. This is one of the nicest portaits I have seen on here. Beautifully captured! Thank you and kind regards,

Hi Vivek. An extremely competent and superbly executed portrait of this holy man. The lighting is excellent, as is the composition and sharpness. You've obviously caught him from a distance - an unusual technique with the lens at 300mm. Great work. Regards, Paul.
Prisley (1485) 2007-12-13 13:27
Splendid! The close portrait is extremly good. No need to have a background here. There are so many gorgeous details on his face, his hair. The colors are stunning, so as the sharpeness.
What distance were you from him to take the pic?

Très belle photo de portait !!

You have done an excellent close-up portrait my friend! This indian Santa Claus fill up the frame gracefully and his face stand out from his white hair and beard. I find interesting to see a sadhu without make-up; I thought it was a standard feature among their spiritual manifestation.

Fantastic portrait. I love the long white hair and the grey background. Tones are exccellent.

Hello Vivek. The Portrait is very impressive. The close frameworks ideally. Actually the photo consists only of two colors. Absolutely worth seeing. Best regards, Wolfgang.

My god, what an outstanding portrait! I am really left speechless, about this fantastic tight framing and the amazing face coming out from these white hair. I remember from some of my schoolbooks, that God looked a lot like that. Congratulations!

i must admit this one is quite good indeed, you found the right balance between the skin and the white hairs.
****best wishes to you and your family.****

Nice portrait. The expression of the sadhu is captured very effectively. His hair along with his facial expression are looking great. Your framework is also very good. TFS.

Another magnificent script, with a wonderful approach.
The sharpness across the frame, we can see a portrait of a character, full of stories to count. The expression on his face, over his hair and beard, wrinkles on his forehead, denote a beautiful work done by you.

Hi Vivek, A truly powerful portrait of this worn looking old man, very meaningful eyes & intelligence all over him, the contrast in colour is superb, great photo, kind regards Wilson.
snowfalken (1116) 2008-02-13 4:23
This is wonderful! You have some astonishing portraits in your gallery! Here I particularly like the contrast between the dark skin and the white hair and beard and the catchlights in the sadhu's eyes. The sharpness fades gradually towards the back of the subject's head and melts nicely into the background. Very beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
With Friendly Regards,

A beautiful portrait with a great sharpness, a beautiful cascade of white beard and hairs and a touching expression. I like how you managed to show us the light brown of his eyes, excellent close-up!

Absolute clarity, Vicky.
The silky hair flowing free from the face, beard, mustache and from the head provide silvery looks.
The skin tones look somewhat more saturated then the usual Indian skin tones.
A nice tight framing but the choice of frame is more impressive.
