Photographer's Note
Taken at a football match playing by the local boys of Birbhum.
I am trying some panning work, taken almost 50-60 shots and I like this one.
Hope u like it.

Hi Partha
Very dynamic and nice photo. Your panning work is well done and
it gives the impression that these children run very fast!

Hi Partha,
Another very interesting panning work. The image is very dynamic.
May be the shutter speed is a little bit too slow and finaly everything is more or less blurry. I made some test with shutter speed around 1/50 to keep more details and sharpness but this is my personal opinion.

Pierre

Hi, Partha.
Impressive running photographs.
The position of legs of kids reminds me this one of kangaroos !!!
Good natural blurr, well used.
Best regards. Grazyna.

Hi Partha,
Great action shot here with just enough stop action to draw attention to the boy in the foreground. Very well panned shot. I like it and TFS. Gerald

Superb panning indeed. It gives a feeling of movement and as well as the typical red clay (ranga mati) texture of Birbhum. It is also a symbol of improvisation, patience and passion.

Hi Partha,
Great capture with an excellent dynamic. I think that you worked very well about the effect's panning because you used the corrects f/stop and speed for it. Sometimes, I appreciat to do it. Well done. Regards, Consuelo

I absolutely love it! Panning is a fun technique, but doesn't always give good results...this one IS great, first of all the dynamism of the children make for a great subject and mood, plus the colours are wonderful...great job, Partha!

It's tough to pan people, because their motion is more irregular than a car or a bicycle. But this one works quite well--you have the closest boy's head and face quite sharp. There's plenty of motion with that sweeping, almost circular, blur. Ideally the ball would be visible, but you can't have everything. Regards, Ken.
