Fantastic picture. Great POV and light, and then I like a lot the bluish color of the woman's dress. The sharpness is also amazing.

Hello Phil,
I always jump for joy on those rare occasions when someone manages to present extremely well known buildings in a new light. This is one of those cases. Your use of the wide angle lens has created an astonishing effect and your choice of POV, away from the maddening crowds, is superb. The dark sky enhances the fantastic colours.
Thanks for sharing.

this is really fantastic phil... never seen taj mahal from this pov and even if i had seen it i guess it wasnt through a wide angle lens... the soft pastel colours are a relief to the eye and the stormy sky adds a lot to the charm of the compo... a bit too tight on the left but a greal shot for sure... congrats...

Hi Phil
That is an amazing way to present Taj Mahal.
The purple color from the front womans dress breaks the marble color nicely.
Very good note as well.

Hello Phil. An impressing photo. The wide angle creates an unusual perspective. In addition the photo also still lives on the color contrast between the clothes of the women and the mono chrome of the temple. A maximum performance. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Bonsoir Phil,
Magnifique composition.

Hi Phil - what a fantastic image of a place we see very often on TE, and its such a refreshing look at it from this perspective. The low angle, clarity throughout and the surreal looking sky make this work so well. The blast of color in the foreground in the woman's clothing is also an excellent touch. I wish I could have gone to Agra last July when I was in India last time, but alas I could not get outta Delhi... :(

superb image, one of the best posted on TE lately, and again:
even in places that have been photographed zillion times everyday maybe, an interest going beyond the touristic and a dedication to make the camera speak rather than record, does marvels. I wish you had talked about your feelings being there, rather than copy a wikipedia note, especially since I believe the great light/atmosphere you shot with is what inspired you.

Hi Phil
It's great to see an original photo of the pov and yours is of excellent quality. Your low position and use of the wide angle makes it particularly dynamic. Great focus on the 2 ladies who's clothes stand out so well. The other people, so much smaller and the dramatic sky add atmosphere.

Hello again Phil, this one there am one of the best images that I have seen of Taj Mahal, I believe that you have been able to bring together perfectly the human element with the beauty of the architecture .... quite framed in an ambience of calmness and meditation.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing your works.

It is always so rewarding to be part of TE and stumble across new galleries. An excellent capture of one of the most photographed buildings in India. The low POV exagerates the unfamiliar angle and the women placed in the frame your icing on the cake.

Excellent shot!!!! Simple, peaceful and ellegent...almost quiet!
