[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Mamallapuram is a town about 60 kilometers south of Chennai (Madras), India. The town is famous for its ancient carved rock monuments, temples and caves.

This is a photo of "Krishna's Butterball". I'm not sure how it got that name, or why it is there!

Good composition. The woman gives us the idea of the proportion of the rock. Good colour too. Perhaps it need more sharpness. I did a lilltle workshop.

Excellent photo but with big noise problem! Good colors too. Maybe I'll send a workshop tomorrow.

good composition. (very) Strong girl.

effet très sympa et réaliste... bravo

Where did I see that photo before ?
You took this one in the afternoon,
I did it in the morning .... Take a look here

On the positive side, there is no overexposure on the ball highlights (as on the recently posted shot of the same subject by oochapan), and the colours are good. Negatively, I'm not a fan of this composition - the idea of 'holding something up' is rather cliche, and oochapan's heaving mass of muscle wedged in to the gap is much more convincing than your slender western actress with bent arms. Finally, I concur with the noise comments. Suggestions: A different angle and composition with more emphasis on the figure, or at least a different crop to add some interest - maybe wide format?

ha ha. great picture for a good laugh. very interesting at the same time though

Great capture and motif - I can understand why several TE photographers have posted this motif - you did very well here Joe - noise or not.
