Photographer’s Note
In the village of Sansari, Nashik district behind which flows the Darna river,life is unhurried and in the evenings people find time to watch life going by. This home is in the main street; a very narrow lane but quite busy with people walking up and down. Here everyone knows everyone else and many greetings are exchanged as people pass by.
The village has changed much since my childhood there when their were mainly huts and now one sees more concrete houses and some quite good bungalows as well.
