I often see these people in Pune but this picture is taken about 200 km away in a village about 20 km from Sinnar. They travel all over with all their worldly goods loaded on their horses. They keep goats and the the men maybe goatherds while the woemn also make herbal medicines. I have tried to find info about them on the net but could not find much I asked an auto rickshaw driver ( my main source of info in any Indain city) and got the above info from him Next time I see them I am going to try and find out more. I like this pic because it has some action and I like the wildflowers in the field.
