Photographer’s Note
Karni Mata temple, also known as the Temple of Rats, is a 600 year old temple at Deshnok, Rajasthan, India. Karni Mata is believed to be the incarnation of Hindu goddess Durga. The peculiarity of this temple is that thousands of rats are worshipped here. The rats are seen as holy, owing to the belief that the souls of the followers of Karni Mata are in these rats and thus they must be looked after.

Wow!
I've never seen anything like that before. This is such a great capture of a peculiar event. I like how they simply drink their milk, not minding anything.
I'm adding this to my favorites.

Hello,
Interesting, and incredible!
It's so interesting to see various people have various worships in this whole world. In my city Nara, people has been worshipping deer (not rats!) as the servants of the god.
Thanks for sharing!
