Photographer’s Note
Humble. Modest. Hardworking. Honest. Positive. Content...
Throughout my time with these women, I did not hear a single one of them complain about their hardships or daily struggles...
oh, these hands belong to Deviben. The women know each other so well (perhaps observant), they recognised her from her bangles when they saw the picture.

Another stunner, Kaj-chan.
Colors are sublime - two very different yellows side by side and easily distinguishable, depth behind and the woman's almost "manly" face staring straight into your lens.
Great stuff,
Francis

The intense yellow coupled with her intense almost manly stare makes this a strong composition for me.

Kaj
I remember that you once wrote about a year ago how you did not care much about portraits as "there is something static about them". Interestingly enough, you have developed into one of the finest portrait photographers on TE. I, on the other hand, gave up portraiture after fulfilling my quota of taking crappy portraits. Here is another example of your fine skill. The palette is exquisite, so are the light and the gaze. Another meticulously composed picture. I am not sure about the way her right hand looks though. Can't help thinking "Lady Popeye"

Kaj,
The colours are just sensational. I have to go to India for the colours they seem to be so vibrant so alive the blues the yellows really are something here. Im not sure about the focus though. It looks to be on the shutter and not on the lady. A little gripe but i think it takes a little away from an otherwise flawless image.
Cheers

Once again you connect the colours beautifully Kajal. Some very harsh textures to go along with the hard look shes giving us.

Great portrait. The colors of course but also the situation: the yellow open door allows us to enter in the blue... Well done Kajal,
