Photographer’s Note
An Indian woman picks through the vendor's stock of husk tomatoes as she does her daily shopping.
While we think that we are seeing an ancient way of life when we visit India and we think that globalization is something new, reflect for a moment on the lowly husk tomato.
It's a native of the New World, a plant that evolved in Central and South America. It made it's way to India in 1950 where it has been incorporated into local chutney recipes.
And globalization didn't start then. The potato, tomato, and chili pepper made their ways there much earlier. Wonder what Indian food would be like without chilies?

Yes, Bob, but we all know the world is global since Marco Polo brought back pasta to italy don't we?
Which is btw more of a myth than a reality, but myths are there to emphasize on reality.
I prefer that smooth veggie exchange rather than the other global feature you didn't talk about in your pic, the potato chip bags hanging behind.
Not happy enough to ruin anybody's health (children fatness is the next global product to be widely exported from the west, thanks to fast food), potato chips bags are also decreasing the quality of your shot!
I like the soft colors all over except (the ôtato bags), the nice light (except the brightness on the potato bags) and the general compo specially the move of her hand (but not that potato chip bags are hanging at the upper corner...).

Belle scène de rue servie par de belles couleurs. Le regard de l'enfant interrogateur qui nous regarde, nous ramène à l'échange entre l'homme et la femme que nous regardons. Cela fait un drôle d'effet. bravo

I like this a lot. Composition and sharpness are excellent (though I'd crop more from the top). I love the colours of the fruit and the door. I like the way the young boy checks you out. And you've captured the imbalance in the relationship between the man and the woman at that moment while she makes her decision whether his produce is good enough. Very nice shot.

A good daily routine and daily life shot. I think those hanging snackbags are something to the taste of viewers and seem hard to crop and clone out. Composition, color and sharpness are good. The only thing I see is a bit tilted to the left.
