This is taken in Sikkim,India.Padmasambava,a Buddha,is said to have brought Tantric Buddhist tradition.In Bhutan,Tibet he is also known as Guru Rinpoche.This 118ft tall statue is at Southern Sikkim called Namaich.

Welcome to the world of TE. Nice coverage of tall statue of Lord Buddha. I especially remember this statue and place because i also took a snap of same statue which you can see in my gallery. nice tight composition and clarity of picture is also nice.
