chaitri norta (festival of 9 nights in the lunar month of 'chaitra') is less known navratri festival of india. it is the festival of celebrating power & inner strength of woman, worshipping mother goddess 'amba maa'.
after the prayers and 'bhajans' (religious songs), these women of fishing town of bhatt are playing 'garba' (gujarati folk-dance) with full zest and variation in their body movements. |
