A temple can be many things. A place of social gathering, A place of art appreciataion, a place of spirituality...
But for me, like many other common folks, it is a place to think back & weigh the events...
This lady in the entrance of the kailasanathar temple, counting her deities & shrines of her bygone days?!!!

Everything came out very well on contrast level, not that evident with all the light from outside reflecting on the wall right. Her orange dress is the eyepuller sittingnext to these immens high coloms.
I see you're rather busy ... caught by your boss in the middle of TE ?

First of all do the spelling correction of the title..
Now the pic is an example of heritage property with the carvings on the wall..the subjects are caught impromtu...good depth of this photograph..only thing i was inquisitive about is how would this pic look if thw walls are straightened along with the frame...
Whatever it is..!! its a great shot..!!!

interesting for me to understand about your spirituality and what you feels when you are in the place like this...like the expression of that woman and interesting, also, that temple..

The lady's face seems to beleong to the pillar sculptures.
There must be three people, since a man is hidden.
Most of all I like your note, that let us understand better what you mean. A temple or c hcurch is a place where take some time to think...

Hi Prem, Nice shot showing the colours and detail of the temple wall. The people work well giving it context, scale and a human element. cheers, steve

Premananad: fine vertical frame. I think you did right in emphasizing the horizontal of the temple here. Missed this place. regards, c

The vertical cropping is beautifull and it's well composed with the people on the floor in front of this monument.

You have managed a fine combination of daily life and superb temple architecture. The persons talking provide a good foreground and colours that brighten the relative darkness of the temple. The not so bright light is very well handled.
