Photographer’s Note
I am personally not a big fan of this kind of shot.. It is too much of TE style and thats the reason why I posted this shoot here.. Mamallapuram for me is more of placer of Henk,( Oochappan )... I have seen so many of his photographs here in TE, that I almost visited the place virtually. I saw those little children with school uniform, talked with them, I saw the same Sadhu in front of Arjuna's penance and the same butter ball..
People are here mostly from France, even the touts talk in french language... Whomever I saw, I searched Henk on them.. but i did not find ..
Henk, If u read this notes, yes, it is for You.

Hi Sandip,
I vividly remember this place from one January afternoon. It was so crowded with tourists (it usually is) that I couldn't get a decent shot. This is a nice composition with the cyclist in the FG. I guess without that human element you wouldn't have posted this image in the first place.
Best Wishes

A very cool shot, Sandip. Rich atmosphere, the texture of the carved stone in the background, contrasted with the passing bike. Beautifully frames and composed.
Why no notes...?
Best,
Francis

Sandip: clever angle on an oft photographed landmark. Great to wait here to inject some more modern elements into your composition. regards, c

What a wonderful background this carved stone makes such texture, Sandip. The passing cyclists adds motion and life.

Well, Sandip, I wish I could bike beside such a wall... ah my... in this concrete jungle, this shot is one that lets you breathe, that evokes your own nature, your true nature of loving-kindness... and your origins. I love the nice hues, the perfect timing, beautiful background with Arjuna's myth (Bhagavad Gita?)
Take care

So you've made it to Mahabs...interested to see what you wud show us from there, through your eyes. I would watch your blog too. The cyclist definitely makes this a picture out of it, but this is definitely not your style, I totally agree. But once a while waywardness is forgiven ;-)..I like it

Hello Sandip,
This is an amazing shot of the man crossing this artistic wall, the sharpness is revealing. Well done.
Regards, Ramy.
