Photographer’s Note
Two students of this traditionnal instrument of south India, used in the temples. They were training in an isolated part of the temple.
Attracted by the music, I spent a long moment with them, and recorded some music.
Unfortunaly, I lost their email and could not send them the shots.
If one of our indian friends from this place know them...

Novel use of the pilar to make a double frame of the image. Not sure about the use of foreground bokeh in this case, but a pretty affective result.

they are twins! that pillar in the middle really adds to the shot. the look of the guy on the left is interesting, its like hes saying 'how did you get in her tourist'

The temple column dividing the frame in two is tremendous. Congrats!

As others have already said, the us of the temple column to frame the two musicians is vry original and refreshing. Excellent POV.

Very natural framing Joel, with contrasting expressions on your subjects

Hello, Joel--
Nice work here, the split composition is very interesting. It almost seems like two frames of the same person in motion, except for the differing clothes.
Thanks!

Joel,
A very dreamy opening up many avenues...
They are brothers perhaps... with the wall of their own dream separatig but the Naadhaswaram being the uniting element...
Spinning stories as usual... But I cannot help when I look at this shot.
Thanks,
Prem.
