Photographer’s Note
Just arrived in Delhi yesterday and took a tricycle ride to see some of the major sites. This shot at least tries to capture my first impressions of India: a mass of humanity, a riot of color, and a sea of smiling faces.

Hello Mimi,
nice to see you posting again, best wishes for 2007.
Looks like we almost could have met in Delhi... On friday I was back from a 6 days trip in Delhi/Agra/Jaipur.
Your shot gives an idea of Delhi frenzy, especially around Chandi Chowk. I enjoyed walking in the goat market there, as it was Aid (muslim festival) period a week ago, dunno if the goat are still there.
probelm with the focus of your camera though, only a part of the blue sweater in the bottom left corner seems sharp.
How long will you be staying in India? If you're looking for a nice little Rajasthan village with incredible palace and market, the nicest people in the area and no tourists at all, I'd recommend you consider Karauli, which is between Japiur and Agra but nowhere in the guidebooks.
