Happy New Year to all my friends at TE.

Bengalis too embraced very gracefully another new year, 2007, along with the rest of the world at the midnight of 31st Dec. But the celebration started well before the midnight. People were out and started to throng the places of their choice from very early hour of the morning of 31st Dec. The most joyous were the children as they got a whole day leave from their studies. The only thing they did on that day was - play and play.

This low POv works great here..We can read on every face an emotion...but the most beautiful it is the boy's expresion:pure joy!

Hello Arjun.
It looks like the one on the right played so hard that he busted his chin...! 8?} The wonder that this time created...I remember it well; having off school for days...Santa Claus comign with all of his gifts, then a new year to celebrate...it was joyous. You've captured that emotion quite well here. The young men look as if they could wish for nothing more than to be here at this time.

A low POV always works well to photograph children. You have captured a wonderful joyous expression on this little boy's face as he runs forward with open arms. It could symbolise the welcoming of the new year.

Another daily life detail of interest Arjun. Always interesting to see the variations of the more minor events from country to country. As this one woth the children doing their child activity in childrens way wherever we must meet them...

Hi Arjun,

children are so innocent and it's a joy to see them playing and looking so happy in a world which is full of danger. The expression on his face is priceless, mind you the other boy's not looking so happy after banging his chin! Wonderful colours and well framed my friend.
